Does your building have wheelchair access?
Yes, the church building has wheelchair access via the hall. The men who are on the door at any given service, will gladly direct you around and open the doors for you.
Are there nursery facilities or a Sunday school at the church?
At present there are none – but we have historically had a Sunday school and at present we have one young family who worship regularly with us.
What format does the worship service take?
Our minister leads the worship service. Our worship constitutes singing, prayer and the reading and preaching from the Holy Bible. The service generally lasts between an hour and an hour and a quarter.
Is there parking at the church?
Parking can usually be found around the church building on both Thornwood Terrace and Thornwood Avenue. Although there are road markings indicating no parking beside the school – these are not relevant whilst we have our services as the school is not open at those times.
What can I expect at the service?
We use the Authorised (King James) Version of the Bible and we sing the metrical psalms unaccompanied from the 1650 Scottish Psalter. Both are available to be picked up at the door on the way into the service. We stand to pray and sit to sing.
