Other / advance Notices

The next FCC youth conference will run from 31 October – 3 November in Ratagan and the Rev. Murdo Angus N Macleod is the expected speaker.  His theme will be “Noah: Faith & Obedience”.  The conference is open to those aged 16 or over.  Booking details can be found on the denominational website.

The next meeting of the Free Southern Presbytery will be on Monday 3 November at 4:00 pm in Edinburgh.

The next meeting of the Presbytery Youth Fellowship will be on Friday 7 November at 7:30pm.  Speaker: Mr Alastair Manderson.

The next meeting of the Old Paths Book Club will be on 9 November.

Harvest Thanksgiving service on Wednedsay 12 November.  The offering will be donated to the Melville-Knox Christian School, Glasgow, building fund.

Shettleston Communion Season 14 – 16 November (inclusive).

The next Free Southern Presbytery Family Conference is due to take place on Saturday 29 November 2025.  The speaker expected is Rev. David Campell of North Preston Evangelical Church, who will speak on the theme ‘A Beautiful Christian Life Outlined and Identified’.

The Deacons’ Court will meet on Tuesday 9 December at 2:00 pm.

The AGM of the South Scotland Auxiliary of the TBS will be held on Saturday 28 February 2026 in the Edinburgh FCC church at 29 Arthur Street, Edinburgh.

Creation Ministries will speak in Partick on Saturday 18 April 2026.  There will be two sessions beginning at 11:00 am and the other at 1:00 pm.  Lunch will be provided.
